Full investigation by Moncton detachment of the RCMP is to begin today into the death Saturday (27 janvier) of 18-year-old Owen LeBlanc of Memramcook East. The boy, a student of the school for mentally retarded in Memramcook West, was taken to hospital Monday following a fall down the steps of the school, the spokesman said.

Born in Memramcook East, he was a son of Camille F. and Elda (LeBlanc) LeBlanc and attended the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Memramcook East.

He is survived by his parents; three sisters, Mrs. Alban Gaudet (Linda) of St. Joseph, Pauline and Camilla, both at home; six brothers, Ro1and, Nelson, Teddy, Gordon, Normand, Armand, all at home; maternal grandfather, Fériole LeBlanc of Memramcook East, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred LeBlanc of Memramcook East.

The body is resting at Dupuis funeral home, Memramcook. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Memramcook East with entombment in the St Thomas parish cemetery vault in St. Joseph to await interment in Memramcook East in the spring.
